My sneaky EBay purchase. HEHEHEHE
I just got 2 Vandas from Ebay.
V. sanderiana x Ascda. Rakjai
Ascda Kultana Gold Spot x Ascda. Pharaoh
They are supposed be just "blooming size" Vandas. However, I notice both of them are spiking. 
Since the V. sanderiana cross's spike is still very low, I will post as it develops. Here is the Ascda Kulatan Gold Spot cross. It has two spikes: one is more visible than the other.

dounoharm, both of them are from "chiaki_ayumi." I really like her Vandas as well as the quick shipment to Oregon.
She had good selection of "Buy it now" items about two weeks ago.
Why sneaky? As per my partner, I am supposed to be on budget. Oh, well. Merry X'mas to me....

I love it when that happens!
earlier this year I purchased two nbs plants - one a bitty thing but it had a small spike, the other plant was larger and was in sheath!
So congratulations on your happy surprise!
can't wait to see them blooming! |

Wonderful purchases. I will try to control my burning jealousy.  That will be easier when I come home from college for Xmas to see the tillandsias I had shipped there (surprise Mom and Dad!  ). Not to mention this summer when I will be working in someone's orchid greenhouse (Where I am sure to weasel my way into a free plant or 6, while convincing my parents there's still room )

I now have a new seller to add to the watch list... I've been eyeing Vandas for some time, but haven't taken the plunge yet.
