And honestly, I'm am soooo sad cause I don't have ALL of them

But I GOTTA have the Beautiful PINK baby!!!

The Mkra. Chark Kuan plant was a gift from friends here in Naples. I will see them on next Tuesday and will ask where they got it. I'll let you know what I discover. In the mean time, I'll let you know that I've seen a different version (sibling) of the Mkra. Chark Kuan cross advertized here on OB, although I don't remember the vendor. I just saw it within the last week, so maybe you can find it in the classified section. It was an orangey color rather than pink, FYI.

I'll still keep you posted about where my friends got this beauty.

Thanks for mentioning the bloom season for the sanderiana...I have the same two you mention here (only smaller versions - 18 and 10 inches respectively), and was wondering when they bloom...it appears that I might not have too much longer to wait.

Now known propely as Euanthe sanderiana, it is a fall bloomer.IOSPE PHOTOS
They were my favorite Vandas, but no they're not Vandas!

Euanthe is still considered to be a vandaceous plant, so it could be your favorite vandaceous orchid!

Wow, those are nice!! Makes me consider growing my Vandas for flowers rather than their decorative root masses.

Yes, of course I did notice the newly renamed "David's Black Pearl". I really like the name too, good choice!

I was also wondering what you did with your plants for the storm? I brough all of mine inside on Tuesday (mid day) and left them inside until probably tonight or maybe tomorrow. Anyway, I left all blinds fully open and misted the vanda mass that is hanging from the one hook in my living room, but it appears that the one vanda that has a spike has a spike that is now browning! Maybe I am mistaken, but it appeared slightly brownish this morning. How do you keep all of yours so happy when they have to move to a new temporary area?
