Look what I found.
It's been 4 long years waiting for a bloom spike from this one. This semi-terete Vanda was obtained as a cutting, is more than well established, and since Feb. has sent out numerous roots and few strange, non productive protuberances. Finally, finally, I found something to get excited about. I don't know how long this small spike will take to mature and bloom. I've included a photo so you can share in my Joy.   |

That's so true sue....we really do have patience when it comes to orchids. I can feel your excitement June ... after soooo long! make sure an dpost pics of the blooms when they do appear.

I really don't know, but I'm guessing it has JVB influence. The mother plant was something special to behold. I can hardly wait till it blooms and you can be sure I'll post pics. |

Congratulations! Flowers of semi-terete vandas usually have bright colors and round shape.
I used to keep some of them, but a super cold front several years ago killed them.
