Ross - it was growing in a 10 gallon aquarium type thing with lowish light (a 40 W CFL)...unfortunately it developed some sort of bacterial pitting (still has it, and unfortunately I am afraid I may lose this plant) but it generously gave me a bloom. I've tried alcohol and hydrogen peroxide but to no avail - even new growths appear with pin-head-sized dots that seem to grow a bit larger. Could be a lack of air-movement but I had a fan on the plant so I'm not sure...viral? It's in quarantine, so I'm waiting to see if it recovers.

Don - there's another little bud forming. I wonder if these are sequential or whether they are multifloral - I've seen pictures with plants having more than one bloom, so fingers are crossed!

i think the cell collapse might be due to a lack of water. i tend to get those a lot on plants i repot and have fairly poor roots
