Default Vanda M. V. Tannins or Vanda lamellata × Vanda Memoria Thianchai

I am not sure which is the correct name. However, I purchased 2 of these vandas from a Thai dealer in Bangkok. The seller sold them to me using the name (V. lamellata x V. Mem. Thianchai.) After doing a little research, I found the same plant with a named ID with two different variations. Thai sellers are not the best with orchid ID's.

I am an American living in Chaiyaphum Thailand. April is the hottest month of the year here (39C to 41C or 96F to 104F every day). We also have extremely high humidity, which is good for the plants but not so great for us humans. On top of that, our village resoivar (a small lake) has dried up and nobody here in our small village of HuayTon has any running water. We get no rain either. I am guessing the high humidity keeps my plants alive. Global warming? (It may be the 7 year cycle.)

The two plants I purchased are of the 'yellow with white' variation.

I cannot imagine how you're going to succeed without a water supply.

The hybrid is Vanda M. V. Tannins. Originally, the hybrid Memoria Thainchai was classified as an ascocenda, but has been since lumped into vanda.
