It is a spring bloomer. The flowers are tiny. Compared with other vandas, the plant is also short.

Interesting to see the plant is purple. Is that from high light, or lower temperatures in winter?

I have this one too... it tends to be on the purple side even though GH light isn't very bright. (Does need a bit of warmth) Just what it does. Beautiful species, used to be Ascocentrum. No sign of this year's blooms yet.. I am glad to enjoy Pheli's.

Thanks. The plant has been grown under 50% shade. The leaves are always red or purple.
