That’s how you grow vandas!!! by J Solo, on Flickr

these are not mine, i drive by this house a lot on my way to and from work....that has not happened in the last 6 months and i finally went and checked on these guys and WOW!!!!

they are mounted on the tall coconut palms and covered in T. Usnieodes...the metal is a ring of stainless steel that a lot of folks use to keep iguanas out of their trees, it is not a pot although i am sure it traps a ton of litter back there

they are pretty good at their brassavolas too!!

Yes, NJ is cooling off and just the way I like it. Must give a shout out to the NE growers tho as it's challenging to perfect the conditions of seemingly warm to hot growers. In my case I'll take whatever I can get with Vandas as they have been a recent acquisition and those colors are stunning.

Step 1: Move to south Florida.
Step 2: Get good flood/wind & hail insurance.
Step 3: NOW start thinking about where you can put your plants.

I agree. They did this really well. Most don’t look so “modern art”

Those are amazing. For some reason, as perfect as the set up is, I just cannot imagine doing that here, in Ohio....
