I had to gently extract an Angraecums's roots from a Cattleya's pot this spring and if I do not keep the Vanilla wrapped, it will take over the pots of the neighbors rather quickly. Orchid roots do tend to seek out moisture.

you know i was thinking that the orchid may help the carnivores...if it connects then the ants and bugs that come to visit the orchid can walk easily to their doom in the bog lol

Even that square wooden trellis thing at the top has rotated around due to the magnet force of the roots. Such incredible will power. Quite impressive.
