Default Vanda tricolor

Vanda tricolor is a large species and it usually takes
five years for seedling plants to have first blooms.
At that time, they may reach 1.5 feet tall.

I have found these (also called V. suavis) to be fragrant, too. I even grow mine outside... a really tough orchid. Would it be happier warmer? Sure, but it puts up with what it gets.

I think it likes warm to hot weather. But in north part of my country(such as in Taipei), it is not difficult to left the plant to bloom. But in south Taiwan, they grow fast and look healthy. Anyway, it is a species that deserve growing.
