Looking for very high light Micro Miniature Vandaceous species/hybrids? Male
Default

I have grown Asctm. miniatum, curvifolium & aurantiacum ssp. philipinense in full sun in NJ, after carefull hardening (10 days under lattice). I have also grown them in greenhouse with 50% shade cloth, and they bloomed there too.

To get back to opener original question, a true miniature that should be able to handle the light & temperature would be Holcoglossum flavescens. It likes high humidity in spring/summer, but prefers somewhat drier conditions in late fall/winter.

3/31/20: And here is a photo from the greenhouse this afternoon. It is growing on a mount that is approx. 1" in diameter, with the plant approx. 3" across & flowers slightly larger than 3/4" NS.
