Default Neo & Neo hybrids from the bench this morning

Here are a few that are in bloom atm; I'd forgotten how often Neos bloom if you grow them under lights

I can't tell from the photos what you have the potted in. I am new to growing neos though I have been growing orchids for about 10 years. I have only 1 neo and a neostylis, both of which I put into sphagnum, one in a neo pot and one in an aircone pot. Any thoughts?

Beautiful plants! Can you provide the names of these varieties?

Thanks!

If you click on the photos, the file name contains the variety/hybrid name.

Connie – sorry that I can't help. I'm curious as to what the others have to say.

As I mentioned in another post, I also have one in sphag in a neo pot with a small inverted net pot. I also really like aircone pots for my other orchids. My neostylus and V. Viet., etc are in small net pots w bark.

Overall I increasingly like sphag, because it cuts down in watering. Needs to be managed differently but also easy to leave someone instructions. “Water when crispy” or “keep slightly damp/cool to touch”.

Have fun!
