A couple of my Neos have rewarded me with blooms this year and I know it's not too late for the others so hopefully I will have some updates as summer winds down!

First to bloom in May, Gojo Fukurin

Then my pride and joy, Shojo in June. Technically it's two plants as a smaller, two growth division broke off shortly after I got it last year. I didn't repot this spring as the moss looks okay, I will split them up next spring.

And finally, my little Awa Hari Beni in bloom now. Surprisingly with only two flowers it is the most fragrant of the bunch. My camera doesn't pick up the faint pink blush on the flowers and spurs and their a little over exposed as I don't have my black background at the moment.

Hope you all enjoy these!

beautiful ones!

The gojo looks great, how much light do you give it?

The awa looks great mounted on the stick, how often do you water? and what's the little guy in the upper left corner under the blue rubber band? looks like an interesting plant?

Oh thank you! I do love it very much - it has very dark colors.

Thanks! I give the Gojo high end Oncidium/ Low Cattleya light. I actually grow all my Neos in that spot - it's a south facing window but I put that sticky window frosting on it to diffuse the light.

The Awa is mounted - I water it almost daily. Sometimes I will skip a day if it's winter or if it's been very humid out and the moss is still damp. Alternatively, I might water it twice on hot days. The other plant is a Tilandsia that I bought without an ID though I think it either is or is very similar to the striped version of Tilandsia caput-medusae. I am trying to get it to also attach to the mount but it seems it would rather send its roots off into space.

I'm not huge into Tillies but I think they make fun mount mates with my 'chids!
