Default Neofinetia Isechabo spike

I acquired this Neofinetia Isechabo on March 1st from NWO and it had a spike just beginning to show. It is a sweet little plant and I've been watching the spike for weeks as it grows longer each day.

Other Neos with spikes showing though this little one is ready to put on a show soon.

This being only my second Neofinetia to flower, I am excited to see the buds develop. I see four buds and I wanted to share. I can't wait to see the flowers!

The spike on this plant has grown quickly while other Neos continue to tease me with their tiny spikes not emerging any further yet. Patience, its overrated.

I will definitely post pictures when the buds open.
Thank you for your replies, this is so exciting!

Today the little Isechabo opened its last bud, there are four perfect flowers. I know I am new to growing Neofinetia and the experienced growers are used to seeing these flowers, but I'm thrilled with them!

The curl of the spur is adorable. I've now noticed my Setsuzan and Fugaku will be the next to flower. This is so exciting! As promised, here is a picture of Isechabo in bloom.

That's so nice! Congratulations! The shape of the flower is delightful - I love how the spur curls completely around. And that plant looks to be in extremely good company, too!

By the way, I hold you almost entirely responsible for my recent Neo expenses.

Thank you, it is awfully cute! The spur may relax a little as it ages, the first flower has somewhat. I am thoroughly enjoying these Neos even with many other plants blooming, these are the new stars in my collection.

Lol, I'm responsible? Come on, we're all enablers here! Matt has a monster collection as do many others and I've certainly enjoyed reading old threads about the many different Neos. It's a shame the majority seem to have gone from the OB.

You need to post your new Neofinetia, would love to see them! There are so many more for the taking! Lol. Thanks for kind words.
