A happy little surprise I'd say. Is that suppose to be Ascofinetia? If so I have one of these but not the 'Santa Cruz Sunset". I wish mine would bloom.

Orig registered as Ascofinetia Cherry Blossom (Neof falcata x Asctm amullaceum). Since both species are classified as Vandas now, this is officially a Vanda hybrid.

Vascostylis was the old name for Vanda x Ascocentrum x Rhynchostylis. They have changed to Vandochostylis today.

The most common clone is 'Carmela', which is pink. With the orange form of ampullaceum becoming more readily available, I am not surprised to see an orange form.

Thanks for the correction. Are they trying to drive me crazy?
