This is my favorite season, with the small Vandaceous hybrids beginning to bloom. First up is Ascofinetia Petite Bouquet, which is:

Ascfn Cherry Blossom (N falcata x Ascda ampullaceum) crossed back to ampullaceum.

This hybrid has much fuller flowers than Cherry Blossom, and a decent flower count. I have had this plant about 2 years, and it has just started a basal keiki.

Very pretty. My Asctm ampullaceum just went out of bloom. Love these vandaceous mini's.

Wow, truly gorgeous little plant! So much of the mini-Vanda breeding potential is yet to be explored, too, I can't wait to see what the next couple of decades bring on this front.

BTW, maybe SPCOP should reconsider its position towards these tongue-twisting nothogenera? 'Neofinetia' and 'Ascocentrum' hardly trip off the tongue as it is, but jam them together and you've got a word I'll not soon attempt in public. Especially when there's a much simpler, two-syllable, more than familiar alternative available. Just sayin'...

@ NYCOrchidman
it is in a 3.1/2" net pot.

@ Nat
I think we should just agree to disagree on this issue.
