Technically this is no longer a Darwinara, since both N. falcata & Asctm curvifolium are classified as Vandas now.

This hybrid was around for a long time before anyone named it (in 2007). I have had this plant some 12+ years, and have a couple of other clones, though they appear to skip blooming this year.

This one is a reliable bloomer, with 3 spikes right now. I have a seed pod (x Rhy gigantea) in the lab, and should be getting flasks sometime this year.

This year I pollinated two flowers:
x Asctm christensonianum (for fuller flowers & increased flower count on a smaller plant).
x Neostylis Pinky 'Red' (for fuller flowers, stronger color & increased flower count).

As usual, lovely blooms from a healthy plant. I envy your skill growing your plants FairOrchids. When you get to the ready point for deflasking those hybrids, can I be on your list? Surely you will need to have some of them living in Fort Wayne?

Even though these have changed names, it is easier for me to remember Darwinara.

Thanks, as you can see, I intend to continue using the traditional names. And yes, once flasks/seedlings become available, you will see postings both here, and on Ebay.
