Default Wabbit's "monster" Neo in bloom

Blooms faithfully every year! 10 spikes this year.

Nicknamed "Gojira" (Godzilla) last year by an OB member
Approx. 8" leaf span, 5.5" tall; blooms are approx 1" vertically, approx 3" spurs. Potted in a (4") plastic pot, fine fir bark mix. Wonderful fragrance.

Last pic show the size compared to a more typically sized Neo.

Thanks for looking

I would love a piece of that!
I love the flower shape!
Mine is like the flower on your smaller plant. Petals curled back too much.

Mine is in full bloom. It's fairly green. Blooms much better this time around. I tried to grow it on the cool side, but it does better with a bit of warmth.

Thank you, all!

RandomGemini - I'm not positive how may growths there are ... 13, I think - It's hard to count, when small, newer fans come up in-between the bigger fans.

This looks like a really interesting and unusual Dendrobium? I wish you'd post a separate thread and identify what it is and other pertinent information (size, fragrance, how is it grown?)

Sonya, I remember this plant from last year. I'm glad to see it is doing well this year. Lovely!
