Default Need Help Identifying Neofinetia Cultivar

Hello my fellow obsessors...

I bought a tiny Neofinetia falcata cultivar about a year ago, and I've lost the tag. It looks just like a wild type Neo but it is tiny, with a mature fan having a leafspan of about 1.5 inches. Here is a photo:

Thank you for any insight you may have.

Andrew

Unfortunately, it could be any number of Neos. Has it bloomed for you yet? Its going to be really difficult, if not impossible to figure out what exactly it is.

Identification may not be possible, but I would like to comment on the apparent health and vigor of that little beauty. Its very well presented as well.

You need to get it to bloom; then there is a chance at naming it.

The first step to try finding what it is would be to track down the seller... then a clue would be that it seems to have a straight tsuke, which does not occur in the regular form of Neofinetia.
The tips of the leaves are pointy...
To second what others said, you have to get it to bloom to get a better idea... colour of the bloom, shape, orientation, etc.
Good luck!

Thank you all for your comments. I'm sorry for taking so long to reply; I usually get an email when when someone posts a reply to a thread, but this time I did not... I think I'll try to get in touch with the vendor I got it from. It's certainly a cute little thing, and grows like a weed, at least compared to some of my others. It doubled in size in the first 8 months I had it, but it came apart into four pieces when i repotted it, so I now have several. My hands are not really made for fine work, i suppose.

Yes, Pilot, it was me at that show. It was nice to meet another Neo enthusiast in my home state. Send me a message some time if you want to chat.

Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew it was nice meeting you too! It is good to know there is another neo nut in our state. Did you find anything you liked at the show?
