Smells strong, but not very distinctive. Sort of lilac smell as well

If it weren't so big I'd be tempted to say this is a darwinara but seeing the whole plant this is not your standard Lou Sneary. I have a guess of what cultivar it is but am drawing a blank at the moment. As a standard now I get a neostylis whenever i see one. Have you ever seen a bunch of these growing together and blooming? It's impressive.

Whatever it is, I would love to have one. Is it fragrant? I have a seeding aeridovanda [vanda x Aerides Lawrencea]
That should be almost the same colour when it blooms.

It has a fairly strong smell, however not very unique, your run of the mill flower smell.

I prefer much more spicy smells like Brassia for example.
