Default NOID Neofinetia

This was simply labeled as "beanleaf neo" when I purchased it as a tiny seedling many years ago. It's now flowering for the first time and the flowers are a little odd. Instead of the all-white look of the standard blooms, these have green tips and a short green spur. The fragrance is (thankfully) the typical strong scent of the species. Not quite sure if I like this one, but maybe it will grow on me.

Cute! I know there's a beanleaf type with green on the blooms. Perhaps with less sun after buds start to develope, the blooms might be greener.

Do you have a photo of the neo? It could very well be 'Suikaden' variant. It's the only one that I can think of, that has green tipped flowers. Neat growing nonetheless!

I wonder if this is your plant? SUIKADEN 翠華殿 -- here are pictures, just so happens to be up for auction on eBay. Pictures from eBay.

That does look like my plant, Matt. Thank you--and maybe I'll put a label in the pot now and tentatively assume that's what I have.

Glad I could help smweaver. If I wasn't already over stocked in Neos. I'd probably buy one. Your flowers are pretty and unique. I'll enjoy your's instead <S>

I'm going to agree that you have a Suikoden.
