Thanks Tracy these are really nice pics you are so lucky to be close to Orchids Limited and be able to learn so much and just pick up these lovely plants.

. I may take a trip up to Al's they are maybe 3 hours from me.

I'm planning a visit to New World Orchids in a couple of weeks and if Dr Glen will allow me to, I'll take pictures and post it.

Wow those plants are fantastic. Reminds me I have a long way to go to master my moss mounding. Also I believe I'm planting my plants too low.

Thanks, Matt! Oh wow, I did not know you were once a Minnesotan! I think that's why my collection grew so quickly and rapidly when I first started. I bought neos from Satomi's website and ebay, ordered from Glenn, but it just couldn't beat the satisfaction of driving 20 min to Plymouth to see more neos in person and taking one (or 6) home with me.

I've seen the mounded neos on one of your threads and everything looked really high up on the moss mounds. So I think it should be fine....unless I was looking at the wrong ones.

By the way, the link at the beginning of this thread to the newsletter with a copy of the Mulhollan article no longer works, as the Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society let their internet domain registration expire July 10. I wonder whether they disbanded or if this is just another typical example of orchid societies not being so hot at maintaining their web presences.
