I caved and added another Neo to my collection. This one has very interesting variegation, with some magenta-purple in the striping. I hope it continues to grow that way. I also added some new Den. moniliformes; just couldn't help myself.

Pretty cool! I imagine the purple is from a high level of light. Although these neos never fail to surprise. If new leaves aren't purple, try higher light.

I agree the purple hue is probably from high light. I put mu Neos in a south facing window during winter, and they all get purpley - the variegated ones get very purpley in the variegated areas.

That is a new Neo. to me. I like it and will have to add it to my list. Which by the way is getting longer and longer...

This particular one was new to me as well. Its one of the variegated types that is supposed to have purple-magenta striping to the leaves in addition to the cream. I grow in pretty high light myself and have never gotten any purple coloration to my other Neos' leaves. The price on this one wasn't that bad actually; pretty typical price for a Neo.

what is really surprising is the wooden tag....that is a nice touch. The Neo is unique, I have never seen one like it....you got a nice haul in there....

Its from Glenn and yes, I've never seen a wooden tag until now. Wonder how long it will take for it to turn green?
