no-one can tell by just looking at it - contact the person/nursery you bought it from.
Hausermann's for example code the label, and its easy to see whether its a clone or seed grown.

I'm no expert on Neos, but the more commonly kept species are almost always grown from seed. Very rarely do people get wild collected plants in hobbyist collections. They're just too hard to grow. This is a generalization, however it is pretty unlikely you've got a wild collected plant.

Yes, like "Isurus" said, we can most definitely rule out Neofinetia falcata as being wild collected. This plant is such a staple in the hobby that it really isn't worth acquiring plants from the wild.

And yes, as "orchidsarefun" said, there is no way to tell if the orchids are seed grown just by appearances.

I don't think people really bother cloning Neofinetia falcata much either, this isn't worth the cost to make that happen. It's cheaper to obtain new plants by either division or seed. I'm not saying there are absolutely no clones of Neofinetia falcata in the hobby, but it is not to the same degree as how many hybrid Phals are mass produced.
