Is this a spike or new division?
Default Is this a spike or new division?

This is my first Neofinetia that I got from Oak Hill about a week ago. I noticed a little growth coming out of the leaves and was wondering if this was a spike. It almost looks like it has a sheath to it. Or could this be a new division forming?

Is there a name for the specific type that Oak Hill sells? Or is it just a standard type? Anyone else have a Neo from them? I'm wondering how often they are blooming for everyone. I have mine indoors at a south facing window and it gets around 2500 foot candles peak.

I agree its a new fan. Oak Hill sell the more common but awesome Neofinetia falcata. One of my very favorite's.

I think I read somewhere that they sell Neofinetia "Amani Island". Did you ask them?
