You're welcome, Don.

I'm fascinated with vandas and always on the lookout for something new for our collection. As an AOS probationary judge (Northeast Region), I've had guidance from Dr. David Grove, who many (including me) believe to be THE Vanda guru. His book on Vandas and Ascocendas is a MUST HAVE for your orchid library.

You can learn a lot from judging sessions - these are open to the public so I'd encourage you to visit the regional center nearest you at your next opportunity.

The award and registration info that I share with OB most often comes from the AOS' AQ Plus program (a database that catalogs ALL the AOS awards (almost) to date; the Royal Horticultural Society for the Sanders list of Orchid Hybrids; and from talking with commercial and hobby growers everywhere.

As long as someone has a question, I'll do my best to answer. We all benefit from shared info.

Good growing!
Joanna

Hi Marissa, I got mine in Europe from the italian grower orchideerare......
His plants are great but his customer service ability is less... (in that for example: he does not answer 'after sales 'questions) and payment is only through postal orders and bank transfer which is a huge pain! he called mine- Ascofinetia (neofalcata x asco miniatum)- whenever it flowers I will post a pic- It is mounted and has trebled in size in the 14 months I have had it ..+ the 2 new 'things ' growing on it I'm not sure are new growth or spikes..which would be too cool to have

Would like to see a photo of Ascofinetia Twinkle - in flower or not. Sounds like you have a very strong plant!
