Neofinetia falcata 'Shutenno'
First Neo to flower this season, I really like the colouration...and the scent. 
Btw, it was a "mossmound" but somehow it collapsed. Bad architecture I guess 
Bought it from Glenn Lehr at NWO when he visited Europe last year. |

Great blooms! That's what mine was supposed to look like soon, until the developing spike blasted. I'm no good at getting any Neos to bloom, only grow. Better than nothing I guess.

I'm still looking for one of these locally. For now it's waiting for any of the US vendors to come across for a show or something. I think it's a sign that these are popping up everywhere. Must get one now  |

They are a great plant aren't they? Small size, great colour and fragrance, what more can anyone ask for?
Three of the four I got from Glenn earlier this month and my 'Leesburg' are blooming and the fragrance is fantastic. Especially the Amani Island. I don't know if it's the nature of Amani Island or if it's because it's a bigger plant with two spikes. Regardless, four plants fill the kitchen and dining room with fragrance. I can only imagine what it'll be like when my collection grows to 40 plus like some people's.

Camille, its better than getting them to bloom and then die.  You dont happen to have a window near your Neos that you can have a little, little bit open the year around? I think that did the trick for me.
