Default Neo Family grows by two (2)

I just added two Neofinetia falcata's to my collection. They are small but, I am very happy with them.

Nice choices! They look really great. So how many Neos do you have now? I still have only two of them, and I'm waiting to see if I can bloom them before getting more.

Camille - Think positive. If you can grow other orchids you can certainly grow Neos. I have quite a few orchids but just recently got into neos. I now have only 5 and I am also looking forward to some blooms one of these days. Thanks.

I's not that I'm not thinking positive, it's just that they are not so cheap orchids and I don't have much money! But blooming season is starting, so fingers crossed. They need to earn their place in the collection!

Congrats on the new neos, Don. The flowers on Setsuzan smell somewhat different than the typical neo fragrance. Either that or I was imagining things last year, which is always possible. Anyways, I really liked the smell of Setsuzan's blooms.

Don, nice new Neos. Looks like they are from Seed Engai if I am not mistaken.

Hi Naoki. Yes, you are right. How did you know, the tags? Another OB member gave me a couple of references for Neos and this was one of them. They arrived in good condition and I am pleased with them. Now I want MORE! I love these little guys and in time will increase my collection. Thanks.

Don, it is "the tag". As a matter of fact, I won a Neo "Suikaden" via eBay ( japaneseorchids ) and it came with a very similar tag.

I do like Neos, too.

Don;

Congrats! They look like nice plants. Did you get them at the World Orchid Congress? I really wanted to go, but work has been just insane with the change in administration.

Cheers.
