Default All Nippon Fukiran Society website?

Not that I speak Japanese, but does anyone know the website for the society? I tried doing a search for it. But I'm more interested in the Meikan chart. Is there a way to get a hard copy of it? Also how long after this year's meeting does the chart come out?

I can't tell you anything specific about what you're looking for, but maybe this will help you find it:

Yahoo! Babel Fish - Text Translation and Web Page Translation

You can use this to translate entire websites. I used it once to look at a Japanese neo website and it did the trick for me. Good luck!

I am not sure what "Meikan" chart is, but this site is really cool. Although I read Japanese, this is a lot of "Kanjis"

http://www.nihonfuukirankai.com/imag.../kongouhou.jpg This one is called. "Kongo Takara" or "Kongohou". According to the description of the plant, it is varigated form of "Tamakongo."

I agree, it's a really cool site, very informative. I wish I could read more japanese. The one you mentioned is Kongouhou. kun and on readings for kanji are not normally mixed - it's one or the other for the whole name.

The meikan chart auger mentioned is a chart supposedly created by the fukiran society showing the ranking of varieties based on rarity or popularity. I wonder who really created it. it seems more like a marketing ploy, which would go against the ideals of the society. they're into education and conservation, rather than economic exploitation.
