Vandofinetia Blaupunkt (Neo. Falcata x V. cerulescens) - Orchid Board

Neofinetia crosses seem to be very popular so I thought I would share one of mine that is making a good show. I bought it at Hauserman's three years ago and it is a vigorous grower. It has only been blooming once per year and this time it produced six spikes. Although a bit wispy, I still like it. Judges probably wouldn't. I should have removed the hanger to improve the appearance.

Jerry, I like that one. I have looked at it several times on Housermanns site but never ordered it. I think possibly I should have after seeing yours. It's beautiful. It has more blue in it than I expected.

I really love this cross...and your plant is fantastic!

Congratulations on your six spikes.

Part of the allure of this plant for me is the whispy spikes...plust the light blue/lavender color and the fragrance are pretty nice too!
