Neofinetia falcata Kuro Shinjyu in spike

I've had this little bugger for almost 3 months. Not positive this is a spike but it looks very different from the other emerging growths I've been examining since early June. Hopefully, it will show me some love and give me some blooms. More pics later if I see buds.

Neofinetia falcata Kuro Shinjyu (Black Pearl)
Orchids Limited (early June 08)

bean leaf
crescent shaped tsuke
tiny white flowers
red root tips on mine but not sure what color they're suppose to be
distinguishing features: mini beaner w/ mini flowers

Mine are grown in St.Paul,MN:
in the traditional Japanese moss mound w/ boring black plastic pot
on screened east window under T5's
around 50% humidity
summer temps (day 71-75F) (night 62-68F)
RO water, weak fertilizer once/ month

Also curious, where do you get your "boring plastic pots"? They look to be the plastic Fuuran pots from Orchids Ltd.

Jim, Since I moved most of my Neos to Erin Pots, I have quite a few extra of those plastic Furran pots. Maybe six extra. If you want them, I'll ship them to you, just PM me your address.

Thanks, Jim! Beniboushi is one of the reasons why I'm eating spam and ramen all time. Yep, those are all plastic Fuuran pots from OL. When I bought mine most of them came in those pots. The ones that were not, Jason repotted for me into those pots. Not fancy, but I like them because they're light and don't take up much room. You may want to take up Gwen's offer on the pots because if you plan on getting more neos, those pots may get expensive.
