Default Ascda. Blue Tahourdin x Neof. falcata 'White Flamingo' AM/AOS

I am super excited to have received this one from EOS recently. It arrived bare root and in spike!

I might well get pink blooms but I am praying for BLUE BLUE BLUE flowers!

Here it tis in its new orchid pot:

Whatever it is, it's a really lovely soft shade of pinkish/purple!

Gwen
I was so thrilled when mine bloomed blue, it's still in bloom, that I ordered 2 more from EOM . I hope one of these will be pink. The 2 new ones are much smaller plants so I may have a long wait.

I noticed they are no longer on their listing. Possibly my beautiful blue picture created a run on the plants. Beautiful plants for so little money, we sure got our moneys worth.

Gwen, give yours a kick in the pants to hurry it up. We are waiting, waiting, waiting.............

Marilyn

"Pedicels are the stalks of the individual flowers; they are composed of the ovary plus the stem below the ovary to the point of attachment to the flower stalk." David L. Grove, Vandas and Ascocendas, page 83

The color of the pedicel may be an indicator of flower color but the bud itself gives more information.
