Neofinetia Suisen is well known and highly regarded being included in one of the gold boxes in the Meikan, do to its orderly and attractively shaped foliage. Its creamy yellow thick substanced flowers and striking green buds resulting from its lack of anthocyanin add to its appeal. It is a small Neo, with a total leaf span of only 2.5 or so inches.
When received in April 2019, it had an offshoot growing horizontally from the base of the plant, a situation I was aware of from the pictures on the seller's website. Because there was no way the offshoot could correct this in an attractive manner, I snapped it off which fortuitously encouraged the mother plant to form two offshoots correctly oriented vertically.
