Little to nothing available on the internet for this variety.

The plant is huge with over 7” leaf span.

Korean association profile here: 흑영(黑英)

It says: "Amami seedling mutation with yellow-green fukurin. Dark green in the center of the leaf, with wide olive green margins that are a bit on the dark side. When grown in high light the centers can become darker, edging on black, increasing the contrast significantly. Because of its restrained variegation, more so than seeing it in photos, seeing it in hand and deliberately examining the plant, you can feel the subtle elegance. Moreover, the leaves are very wide and thick, showing the konoha-gata (lanceolate) outline, overall having a very thick and sturdy form. In Japan, the variety also goes by the names Sōten 蒼天 and Zuirei 瑞麗. Mud root, mud stem, almost wavy straight tsuke."

Hakumin,

Thanks for the info. I was aware of the darker green interior stripe which is not that easily visible unless you are looking closely for it on my plant. Tomorrow I will attempt to capture that on a photo and include it here. I hope I can.

My photo will focus on a single leaf and not be nearly as eye catching as the knockout photo in your link.

I think that goes without saying.

Honestly, I can already see it in your first photo, so even if you just zoom in it should be much more obvious.

I can see it also but I will try to get a more definitive picture tomorrow with any luck.

Nice looking Neo
I also like how the flowers are well spaced and can be enjoyed individually while also being pleasant to look at as a group, like a cloud of flowers. My plants usually have all the flowers very close together, probably from them being inside behind a window and the spikes/flowers reach for the light.
