Found in Jamaica, this leafless species grows grayish-green roots which photosynthesize for the plant like leaves do for others. This is a first blooming for me. I grow this plant in intermediate conditions in a 6 inch net basket where the roots grow pendulously. I water daily to keep the roots hydrated. The two spikes arose from the central growing point and took approximately 53 days from the time I first noticed the spike to when the buds opened.
