Default Angcm didieri (rebloom)

Hi,
I got this little guy last year as a TC for the project plant and it's become one of my favourites It bloomed a couple of months after I got it and, after sending out lots of roots, leaves and two potential nubs, it's finally decided to develop the third one. Unfortunately, the spur got caught up and broke while I tried to free it and this may have caused the little bruise you can see in the first picture.

PS sorry for the lilac bloom creeping in on one photo, I had to try and find a sheltered spot for a snap this afternoon and by the lilac tree was the best place!

It's beautiful!!! When I ordered my project plant yesterday I hesitated a long time to add it to the order or not. I didn't. And now, see you pics, I regret it!

Oh no!

Though, I'm sure you'll get another chance on an order to add it Looking at our thread I started last year when a few of us got these as TCs, I'm one of a few who has this potted rather than mounted, it seems to like it just fine (and a lot easier to care for than a mount!)

If the order wasn't shipping out monday, it would be easy enough to have it added in. But i'm not sure they'd see my email before the box leaves.
Oh well, but on a more positive note it gives me an excuse to order again later!

Gorgeous! I had one of these - it didn't seem to like me, but seeing a few other members' posts of these recently (many commenting it's been an easy grower for them) - I really think I want to try again!
Good growing!

So beautiful!

Did your plant take a long time to go from bud to bloom? Mine has 2 small spikes (each is about the size of a pea), and it's been like that since last October. Just wondering!

Once it decided which growth was going to be a flower (it has two more on lower leaf joints which have been there for months), it was only a matter of weeks between development and opening. To be honest, it did surprise me how quick it was as I seem to recall it taking longer last year (but, maybe I was more impatient last time!)

Beautiful! I just got a really nice one as a TC for my project plant. It has two fans. It has three buds and another one coming out. Two of them are pretty far along and I can see the bud in the growth. I'm really excited for it to bloom! I couldn't believe how big it was since it was only $15! Mine is also potted. It is in a clay pot with big bark chunks. It has tons of roots too. Seeing yours makes me even more excited! How do you grow yours? What kind of light? How many times a year does it bloom? How long do the blooms last? Sorry about all the questions! Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing!
