I went away for 10 days, leaving hubby in charge of the orchids, and when I got home, my A didieri was in bloom! It is so graceful.

What a lovely surprise to come home to In a way, I've been quite lucky in that my flower grew on it's side so the spur went horizontally across the pot. Visually, it's obviously not as nice as the have it the right way up with the spur coming down, but it's elegant none the less.

Jenny,Thanks for remebering to let us know how long it lasted! I have no idea how long they are 'supposed' to last for but I think 4 weeks is super! I don't think mine lasted that long. Well I have a new bud forming so will see next time...
