Aerangis mooreana
Default Aerangis mooreana? (more likely mystacidii)

This started flowering in the last few days. I bought it as Aerangis mooreana, but it looks more like mystacidii ...

Do you grow all your Aerangis in the same area or do you separate them as to different needs.
Sorry if I'm getting the thread off topic a bit. I have about 15 Aerangis and am not sure if I am giving them the proper care, although they all seem to be doing well with new leaf and root growth.

They are all in the same greenhouse, all mounted and all in more or less the same conditions. I tend to have the plants in shadier spots in the greenhouse (see picture - greenhouse after watering this AM). In fact I started to get into Aerangis as I had some free space in shady areas where other plants did not grow well.

A few exceptions: some larger plants such as A elisii are grown in baskets with the Vanda's, but mainly for convenience.

Thanks so much Lars. Although I don't have a green house, I do have the plants in a low light situation in the house. Probably a little less than my Phals.
Your plants look so good. You can be proud.

Mooreanan is supposed to be pale pink flowers while mysatcidi has that same salmon color on the anther cap.

One way that would be easy to tell them apart is the plant. Aergs mooreana should have the lighter green grayish and mystacidi has leaves that arenot as wide, much more obovatewith one of the lobes usually absent.

It is beautiful! I only have one Areangis (biloba). It is on my window sill and gets some morning sun. Shade for the rest of the day. It havent flowered yet but it doubled it size since i got it in May.
