You'll get very healthy plants that should grow strongly.

Ugly, but they look like healthy plants, will probably survive and thrive fine. But you'll have to look at the toasted leaves for years... replacements will look better, and you'll end up with twice the plants.

Being a Pink Floyd fan, I couldn't resist ordering this Vanda 'Pink Floyd' (v. tessellata alba × v. luzonica) from Motes in June. I just received it Wednesday this week; it came in bloom, but the flowers are shocked (probably from heat during shipping) so they are dropping - the plant itself is in great shape though!
Bart also sent a free second plant, Vandachostylis Pinky (I believe that is V. falcata x Rhy. gigantea), also in great shape with loads of roots

Yes, they'll laugh off that heat damage.

RJ, the four mini Vandas that I ordered from Krull-Smith look similar to that. Were shipped on a Tuesday and were supposed to arrive on Friday but the shipment was delayed for some unknown reason and they didn't arrive until Monday. Two of them have mostly dried out roots and all except for the Neofinetia falcata x Vanda Rainbow Stars have heat damaged leaves. I will also be getting replacements (probably just for the two with the dried roots and heat damaged leaves) but I'm waiting until temperatures drop a bit before having them shipped. The V. Twinkle x V. Ladda Gold had buds and was surprised to see that they had bloomed yesterday. Thought for sure they were goners.

I'm going to avoid ordering during hot weather, too, from now on unless it's an order with one of the southern CA vendors or Tropical Orchid Farm in Hawaii. Shipping generally takes only one day, two at the most. Not sure when to tell Krull-Smith to reship. Going to be in the 90s next week and if it takes a week to get the plants again that would not be a good thing.
