I’ve come across a baby and having trouble finding info on this hybrid. I know it’s a cross between ceratocentron fesselii and amesiella monticola, but I don’t find much beyond that. Any experience or tips for this little guy?

First, Welcome!
Looked up the parents... Ame. monticola can tolerate relatively cool temperatures. Crtn. fesselii is more tropical. (Interesting cross! With one white parent and one red one, wonder what the result will be?) So intermediate temperatures (not below 55 deg F at night) would probably work.

Might be useful to ask the seller... If it came from Louisiana Orchid Connection (they originated it) , John and Tin list their emails on the website. Really nice, and responsive, people.

I will move this to the Vandaceous angraecoid forum... It will get noticed better there, where it belongs.

Thanks for the welcome and the info! It might have come from Hausermann, but it’s not on the website anymore. From the internet, the bloom should be a salmon-y pink. I can usually access plenty of information by just googling the name, but this hybrid seems pretty obscure.
Also, its ceratocentron parent is a rare and highly endangered species in the wild in the Philippines. Fesselii is the only known species in its family.

That is a really cute mini! And definitely an unusual combination. I would definitely suggest going to the source, Louisiana Orchid Connection - both for information, and if you have not yet obtained one, a possible source. (That, no doubt, is where Hausermann got it) If they no longer have it, they may be able suggest something else interesting... they have some very unusual things.

Hi and welcome!

I have one of these that I got from Louisiana Orchid Connection just earlier this year so I don't have too much experience. It's a pretty small plant. I grow it warm indoors (75-80) in a lil sphagnum moss mound. I water when the moss is dry and crispy on the surface. I would say it's doing alright! As of last week mine has been starting a spike.
