Terrarium 36w x 18d x 24h Male
Default Terrarium 36w x 18d x 24h

Hello to all. Newbie here to this forum. Please correct me for any mistakes i may make.
My hobby is building and designing terrariums and growing plants that suit the conditions of a properly set up terrarium. Plants i use are of the mini and dwarf varieties of Orchids, Gesnariads, Ferns, Bromiliads etc.
The attached pic is of my Marty Made 36x18x24 tank.
On the left side there's 9 different orchids, all doing well.
Orchids are: Masdevallia descendens, Neof. falcata 'Tam.'
Den. moniliforme, Den. trantuanii, Onc. 'Twinkle Fantasy'
Bulbo. falcatum 'Standing Tall', Tric. chamaelepanthes,
Kefersteinia pellita, and one of my favorites, Mediocalcer
decoratom. Plus, Pinguicula gina (Butterwort). It will clear up a fly problem in your set-ups plus it flowers non-stop.
Can someone give me a tip on up-loading pic's.
The attached pic and the pic's in My Album are awful.
The pic's out of my camera are 4 or 5MB and sharpe
as a tack. When i reduce them to about 200-300kb
they still look pretty good. But when i post to this forum, reducing to less than 100kb, they are trash.
Need to correct this problem if i'm going to post again.
Any info would be appreciated. TIA

You may be able to post photos larger than 100K. At one time it was necessary to reduce the size, but maybe not now.

Also many people use an exterior photo service, then post a link that shows up in the message as a photo. I don't do this but I hope some of them can tell us how they do it. Look at this thread. Bayard uses Photobucket. I know others work.
Pamelathon!

Thanks Estacion for the advice.
Had some excitement this morning when i checked my plants. Check out the attachment. This orchid has been setting under my lights, 4 bulb T-8.... 2 warm/2cool fixtures for about 2 years. Didn't do anything. Now this.
Absolutely delighted.

Thanks Leafmite.

This Oncidium has been blooming for about a month.
Turning out to be an excellent Terrarium plant.
