I meant the flytraps and Nepenthes are supposed to be red like this, but the tiny orchids are not. Your flytraps were bright red on the bottom of your terrarium, as I recall. Unless you put the orchids underneath something else to give them full shade, or move them to the edges away from the light cone if you don't have full coverage with high light, the entire terrarium is too bright for those small orchids.

I finally lowered the intensity on my LEDs. I thought it was running at 80%. But it was at 100%. I programmed it to run lower...max of 75%. I will also be moving the carnivores away from this tank. That way I can cut down light even lower and hopefully that should help resolve the issue with orchids. I'll update on this as I see progress.
thanks.

Beautiful tank by the way. I wanted to ask about your ventilation system. Is there a top on the tank? If so, what kind? Just wondering how you get away with 8 mistings a day. If I did that in my tank, everything would turn to algae.

Hi,

Just saw ur MSG. The misting system is not on the orchid tank. That one is hand misted twice a day (12h apart) and I'd totally open to the top. Also..the vents on top are open...so the central air shoots air directly into the tank and the plants also sway in the air. So a lot of air movement.
