Default Orchidarium(®)? done?

I tried to find the Orchidarium(®) site and it looks like hes shut down.
Yes Orchidarium(®) was trademarked and I know this bec one person long ago came in here and told me I couldn't use the word Orchidarium(®) without referencing his trademark. Wiki doesnt seem to honor his wish. Pfffft on you now.

Anyone know what happened to him? The sites that were selling his product state they are 'discontinued'.

Teach them to try and sell something fancy to a group of orchid people that cost more than 10 dollars that doesnt bloom.

Anyway was looking for some ideas on 'build my own' from an acrylic fish tank. Dont know how well they workd but people who had them seem to be happy for the most part...

You got one for sale?

Click here to buy Orchidarium.com for your website name! even the site name is up for sale now..so much for trademarks

It depends what species you are putting in. If it involves lepanthes etc, you would NOT want to use a fish tank because a lot of plants like airflow. A solution for this would be a desk fan but all it does is recirculate the same air so if I were you I would go with a lizard tank, or the more expensive route (but probably the best) an Exo Terra tank 😝👍 good luck!!

I started with cheap aquariums, and after a while moved everything into Exo Terra's and have had great success with them. Wish they were cheaper.

Did you go to Petsmart? I bought two 18x18x36 Exo Terra's from them for a very good price. Wish they carried the larger sized ones too. But I found a local pet store that ordered me a 24x18x24 at a nicely discounted price. So deals can be found, but it may take a lot of work to find.

No actually, I was looking for 24x18x18 but this was the last in stock and $8 less haha. $130 later... Looks like I'm gonna have to lay off collecting for a while 😜

I ended up with 24x18x24*
