To the OP, that is incredibly impressive! I half way converted a mini fridge into a cold growing wardian case in 2011 and had some success growing three different Telipogon species and a cold growing Masdevallia. What I did with the fridge was makeshift at best (though fairly effective), but what you have achieved is perfection with regards to terrarium growing of cold growing orchids like Telipogons. Your setup looks sophisticated, tidy and well organized and I think you can expect many blooms decorating it in the near future with fairly little maintenance and upkeep. Well done. You perfected the art.

As a side note, I wintered my three Telipogons and Masdevallia outside over the subsequent winter 2011-2012 here in the Orlando area. They actually did quite well with temps as low as 33-34F and mid 80s a few times. My downfall was leaving them out too late in the spring when it started to get hot as they all promptly died. If I do decide to grow Telipogons again, I will follow the setup outlined in this thread to the letter.

I am currently working on a collection of leafless orchids as well as a collection of all FL native epiphytic orchids. Lepanthopsis melanantha and Campylocentrum pacchyrrhizum are going to be the tough ones in such a collection. Maybe I will have some luck at Redlands next year?

Hey Tom.. I have been on this forum for years. Just been away for a bit. I hope that people on my facebook group take some note of the address for this group there as I think we can support each other with good info and hopefully members will cross over to find value in each.
