Default A new addition to my terrarium!

Not all terrarium plants have to be orchids... I just added a small Nepenthes rafflesiana to my collection. I just thought it was rather fitting...something different that will, hopefully, keep any flies down.

LOL. Enjoy it while it is a baby -- they can grow, if conditions are right, fast and they get HUGE! I love neps! Just wish there were some that would stay small. I have toyed with the idea myself of getting a baby nep and just trading/selling it off once it gets too large.

Not sure how well it will do in the fly dept. I assume you are thinking of fungus gnats? Neps seem to be more alluring to larger prey like houseflies, wasps, etc. For gnats, some of the tropical Drosera would likely do well by you.

Nice, I want to try one someday, but haven't the room. How big does this one get?
