I use irrigation pipe PVC 1/2" diameter, white plastic pipe, can be found at most big chain home stores.

These glass pieces on the ground make a nice contrast.
I'm curious, if you get the leonis to bloom in the vivarium.

I would be afraid, that plants in pots wouldn't dry out enough in, when they stand on the ground in the vivarium. I lost a phalaenopsis in pot in cause of fungus. At the moment I only have mounted ones in my terrarium.

Nothing sits in water all pots are above water level. I use mainly hydroton for pots, some will have a little tree fern fiber mix in, orchids that like it more moist, first have the roots wrapped in Hygrolon then into pots with moss on sides to secure plant or I use hydroton again to hold plant stable in place.

To date, no rot, have seen plenty of new roots and growth.
As for the leonis it is in an air type pot, lots of holes with an open mix, so far nice new leaf growth and happy feet.

Sorry, my post was misunderstandable - it seems, my english should be improved... ;-)

What I meant, ist not, that the pots stand in the water on ground, but that due to the raining system or fog system, the post, which stands in the vivarium could be constantly moist - why causes fungus or rot. I myself lost plants this way and that's why I am afraid of putting potted plants into vivarium - especially, when the orchidarium is that small.

My terrarium does have the same measures.

The potting material, I use for my plants (the potted ones) is seramis or a mixture of seramis and hygroculture tone and for masdevallias kanuma.

Great job! I am using a large exoterra tank as a naturalistic terrarium. I drilled a whole on the bottom of the back panel for drainage of excess water, it's actually very easy to do. I completed my tank in June and here is the latest picture;

Thanks, I actually keep it in my office. The tank is always changing, I've got Dendrobium sulawesi in bloom now.
