Sorry I got carried away...lol. I know that dang timer is reversed! I spent days and days trying to get it to work properly....and then I went and bought a cheaper timer and life was much easier. But now that I think about it....the digital timer will go on and off at increments if I so desired to have it that way. I don't know why it never occurred to me that I had the two timers mixed up. Actually the light timer that came with it would do that as well since all I have to do is push in the pins on the circle where I want it to come on and off and the pins are are at 15 minute intervals as well. I can't even run my fogger/mister for multiple intervals anyways since all the water splashes out of it, so I don't have a timer set up on it. Well now I am getting carried away again.....lol.

I am so laughing!!
Well, we're here to help, even if it's just to help you take a new look at working out something that does not. . .work as expected.
It may take ten of us, but someone here will figure it out. . .eventually. *snicker*

Try an interval timer such as Marty sells MistKing*::*Misting Accessories*::*Repeat Cycle Timer They're a bit expensive but worth every penny! Mine has been working flawlessly for many months. Marty's is designed for something like the MistKing system, but yours might work as well.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

You can program the lights to turn on any time you want. Mine come on at about 6AM and go off whenever I determine.
