Default Cork as background

I want to use virgin cork panels on my background. is this suitable for attaching Orchids and Bromeliads?

I don't see why not. Lots of orchids are mounted onto cork panels. I think you will have better luck with the orchids than the bromeliads simply because of mechanics, But I have never mounted bromiliads onto any typ of background before.
