smells
Thats so cool, good earthy smells huh.
Well when i open my viv i smell humidity, not bad though, more like fresh humidity. I know what it smells like when its stagnant. I wonder what my vivs will look like in 12 years.
Just to show how much i didnt know about this just a few years back, when I first built my ten gallon viv in 2001, i actually put the soil at the bottom, and then topped it off with aquarium gravel. I figured it would be neater that way. I didnt realize how swampy it would turnout after a short while. Fourtunatly i used syngonium as the plant and you know it grows in water as well as it does when properly potted on a window sill.
