Default Wooden Vivarium Construction

Went to Pittsburgh and saw their small vivarium for small orchids....I loved it. Anyone have plans out their for constructing a wooden vivarium with front glass plate.

I know there are several floating around somewhere. I am hopeless when it comes to woodworking so I wouldn't
even try it myself

The main important thing is sealing the wood to protect it from moisture.

Here's a link to an awesome viv that is of some wooden construction:

www.poison-frogs.com, a 2002 website dedicated to rainforest vivaria for dart poison frogs, together with lots of pictures, films and more. How to create the right conditions, like temperature, humidity, ventilation, light and design

Thanks for the link, Damian! I'm planing to make wooden corners to hide the lamps. The side walls will be made of glass.

My pleasure,
if you can, take photos from the very beginning

Do you intend to have the lamps within the viv or seperated by glass/perspex.. I don't think it would be a problem unless you had frogs or other live animals in there that could potentially come into contact with the lights and burn to death

I'm planning to separate the lamps to protect them from water. I will take photos as soon as I find time for this project. My baby keeps me very busy now. And this posting contest doesn't add the free time either.
