Vivarium Forum
Would like to extend an invitation to our sister forum,
Vivarium Forum
http://www.vivariumforum.com/
Its a forum about terrariums, vivariums and all the plants and animals that we can successfully keep inside of them. If you have any strange pets that need or can be kept behind glass like insects, scorpions, frogs, salamanders, toads, caecelians, lizards, turtles, snakes, etc.... and you would like to join a forum to share knowledge, experiences etc about these, please check Viv Forum out.
Thanks.

Welcome, and I can pass on my research so far... I plan to mount two fans - one mounted to flow directly onto the front of the case, the second to flow over the case as a whole. The first will be inside the tank entirely, the second will be mounted to the side via a hole cut on the side to allow fresh air in. The doors on the front will allow air to escape. These are my current thoughts.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I have one small fan attached on the outside of my tank, at the very top. The tank is only about 15 inches wide, but is 30 tall, and 12 deep. Some parts stay humid all the time becuase of the high plant concentration, but other get soo dry that I have actually reduced the amount of time the fan is working. So it really is up to you to find out through trial and error how often, how much, where, and how many fans you decide to use. The dynamics are gonna be different in every tank.
As an example, I have an identically built tank next to the one I mentioned above. Its full of bromeliads and vines, and is always faster to dry out, and usually less humid.
